EEOC Provides Hearing Disabilities Resource
The federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission issued a new resource document to educate employers about the legal issues related to job applicants and employees with hearing disabilities. Titled “Hearing Disabilities in the Workplace and the Americans with Disabilities Act, “ a link to the new resource can be found here. The resource summarizes Federal laws prohibiting job discrimination and explains accommodations that may be made for employees and potential employees with hearing disabilities.
